What is key board ?

What is key board   ?
          Key board is the most commonly used input device.
Data is enter mostly using  key board.The buttons on the key
 board are called keys. A standard key board contains over 100
keys .A key board contains numeric keys ,alphabetic, functions,
and special purpose keys.
A standard key board is normally called QWERTY key board.

Main parts of keyboard .

3.                   numeric  keys
4.                  Additional keys
 Esc key
           Esc key is used to terminate a command.

Tab key
                   Tab key is used to move the cursor to next tab stop.

Shift key
              Shift key is used for various purpose .upper case letters '
and upper symbol shown on certain keys
Control key 
                          Control key is pressed i combination with other 
          keys to execute commands .
