What is ram ?

What is Ram ?
                                               Ram  stands for random access memory 
It is also called direct access memory .Ram is used to store data
 and  instruction temporarily .
 Ram is a volatile memory. It means that its contents are  when when the power is turned off . Ram is a read write memory .Cpu
 can read  data from ram and write data from ram .

   Types of RAM .
There are two types of RAM .
             
1 .>
     DRAM 
2.>SRAM 

        DRAM 
                    DRAM stands for dynamic random access memory 
.It is a type of memory that is used in most computer.

       SRAM
                    SRAM stands for static random access memory .The 
memory cells are made from digital gates   .Each cell can store 
data without any need  of frequenty recharging.
